I went out to dinner with some of my friends and a professor (and his wife) last night at the professor's place. We started off at 7pm, and just talked and talked some more till midnight.

I sometimes wonder what it would have been like if I hadn't come to Japan. I don't think people from other countries have 'parties' in the same way Japanese people do. Their parties are like normal dinners. Big dinners. I guess. I just thought it might be something to point out.
