DeathNote: The Last Name

So I went to the cinema. I was really confused at one point really. I've been reading the DeathNote manga and watching the anime, and I didn't want to be disappointed with the movie so I couldn't really decide if I was really watching it or not until the last moment (I mean seriously, I was staring at the receptionist when I finally decided).

But I liked the movie. Yeah I really did.

Even though now I've just realised that what I watched is actually the sequel of the movie that came out in June this year. What I watched was the sequel (well, more than a 'sequel' it was a continuation or second half or ending really). Death Note and Death Note: The Last Name. Oh well I'll just watch the first movie once it comes out on DVD - I know the basic plot anyway. It was a very interesting mix of digital and reality... I mean I wouldn't call the animation of the Gods of Death first class, but it was really really good. It was still distinctly game-like and... a bit more highly-defined version of Kingdom Hearts style of characters, but it was no Advent Children.

But I really like it. I think I can sleep easy now really that I got the ending I wanted. I watched Friends (3rd Season) at my friend, Liliana's place until late and just got back around now. I feel so relaxed and destressed now. I should watch more Friends. I really should. Hee.

Ka, the 1st Death Note is still nice even if you knew the plot! There are number of changes which -like the manga- are very intense!

Aira and I went crazy when we saw Amane Misa 1st time. So cute!
