Look what my Cultural Anthropology teacher today showed us in class!
Tetei hem i hot tu mas.
Mi wandem go long solwara blong swim.
And on a different note:
Mi kaikai em ta sol.
Now... how many of you out there can understand what I'd just put up, I wonder? Here's a hint: It's Pidgin ^_^ I believe the teacher said tha this kind of language is spoken in Papua New Guinea.
Try saying it out loud and think that it's English... ?? Although frankly I wouldn't know how to do that myself, but anyway...
The first two lines mean:
Today it is hot too much.
Me want go long saltwater(sea) swim. *I have no clue what 'blong' would refer to.
And the third line is:
Me eat it only. *kaikai is not from English. *ta sol, means, that's all --> only.
Pidgin!
Not through violence, but through the word alone
