Book shopping ^_^

I really like book-shopping. I mean, it's not the buying of the books but the browsing. I like to go over Kinokuniya to look at their collection and then order them online instead of buying them on the spot. Reason#1 it's cheaper. Reason#2 the annoying price-sticker that covers almost a third of the synopsis is inexistent if you order it from online. I love amazon.co.jp ^v^ Just got my latest shipment today~~ heee

Anyway, I've my last exam on Monday and then I'm free free freeeeeeee- Summer Hols! Two whole months woo yeah baby~ *dances*

Estoy cansada =_=

I just had my Spanish exam today and my brain is just so... dead. I'm so glad that my only other, and last, exam is on Monday next week. I have time to breath ^_^

I'm sorry that I'm really tired to say anything else but I'm going to just post up this list of songs I think all of you (yes, you, my dear ^_^) should listen to. Excuse me that more than half are Japanese...

It was kind of fun today

We had Mio and Liliana in doing a study session at our apartment today. I woke up late, like, 9.30am-late because I was up till four am watching Initial D (I can understand now why people like it so much). I was just heading to the shower when Mio emailed to say she was at the station- had no choice but to ask Aurelie to go and pick her up. Liliana apparently got lost so Aurelie had to go down after a while and pick her up too.

10 am and I immediately start cooking for lunch (T_T) why does cooking take so long...? All I had in the end was ayam masak kicap (chicken in soysauce), boiled veggies and this weird mixture of baked beans, sausages and umm... a japanese thingy which I don't know the name to but it was fish-flavored. It was all set at exactly quarter to 12. Oh man. Kudos to all housewives out there. How do you do it? And I was only cooking for 4 people! *sweats* But it was fun anyway. It was my first time cooking ayam masak kicap. And my first tasting was like, EUUUURRRGHHHHH (^_^); because I put in too much vinegar. The second tasting was like... EEEEEHHKHKHKHKKkkk because I put in too much kicap manis. Then I just gave up tasting, put all the chicken in and let it sit on the stove for a while- and voila! It tasted just fine in the end. That dish is just really weird. But why does it taste so niiiiiice.

We had the exam at just a little past 3pm so we left the appartment at about a quarter to. Amazingly enough we did get some studying done. Actually, it was probably a lot of studying done haha. But then again it was Information Science, the subject content is very similar to Form1-3 Computer Studies plus some common knowledge about computers today and that's it. It wasn't hard really. I even managed to write uptil the reverse side of the answer sheet (which is A5 size) all in Japanese. I'm so proud of meeeee \(^v^)/

After the test I went straight to sleep- I woke up at 9pm... and now... well. I'm wondering what to do now since my French exam tomorrow doesn't start until 1pm hahaha. I'm toying with the idea of waking up really late again but because of my silly body clock I'll probably barely make it past 9am. What to doooooooo~~

!! o(^v^)o

I've just realised- I haven't posted any pictures in a while! Oh my -----(=.=;) Ahh well.

I just had my Info-Com (Information Communication - why is the name of the subject so long??...) exam and I finished riGht on the dot! It's the first time I've completed an exam here lacking the feeling of hopelessness and managing a sane state of mind all towards the end (of course, this could have also been because I got tired out since I had PE the period just before... I've lost 9 games out of 10... T_T man I'm really bad at table tennis... but why is it so addictive??)

I'm so hapey~happy~happie~~ Info-Com is great- the teachers are nice, I actually understand what it's all about, the exam wasn't easy (of course, it was in Japanese, they allowed the foreign students to bring a dictionary, but even then it was driving me nuts) but it's was oh-so-answerable! I'll probably be giving the teachers a headache with my weird Japanese but I answered! I tried my best! o(;_;)o I finished on time! Now the only thing that could make me any happier than this is if I pass that paper (ehkk) \(-.-)/\(-.-)/ End.

So where are you now?

How does one answer this question?

I'm in Japan.
I'm at my apartment- I decided to come back early since my classes have ended for the day.
I'm in a pinch, and I don't know what to do.
I'm at halfway done with my presentation.
I'm in front of the computer.
I've just used up 19 years of my life.
I'm at a crossroads- and I'm torn between focusing between cross-cultures, modern cultures, information communication and regional cultural studies.
I'm torn between taking Korean or Arabic next semester.
I'm torn between continuing or dropping Spanish next semester.
I'm torn between taking or not taking extra English classes.
I'm torn because I want to take up Kyudo next term but I don't have the financial or mental capabilities to endure the stress that would most certainly occur.

I'm torn because I want to paint my nails purple but I'm too lazy to do it.
I'm torn because I just cut my hair uber short and it's backfired on me because I can't control it's curliness anymore. (Is curliness a word?)
I'm torn torn torn.

So where am I now?
Leaving. hehe- Later!

I have a confession to make...

I skipped class to watch a movie. Hahahha- it sounds really bad if I put it down that way. -_-; What really happened was that there was a one-time screening in the University, of a documentary called Lifers and to attend it I had to skip one class. I knew I couldn't rent out or buy this particular piece so the only chance I'd ever get to see this film was if I attended the session. Forgive me (looks up). Oh well, I got a really eye-opening experience AND I got to talk to the director of the documentary, since she was tHerE. Coolies ^v^

And I hadn't ReAliSeD! One of my teachers can speak Bahasa Indonesia!!! I was like "Whaaaaaat----" then I did a complete 360 and we were jabbering in English and Malay. Then we switched to Japanese and again, I was like "Whaaaaaaaaaa-----" (notice I didn't even get to the 't'. Oh man that teacher is a genius! He studied for a degree in France I think [which implies he knows French], and then took his masters in Amsterdam [which implies he knows... uhm, Dutch?], studied anthropology with Indonesia for 3 years (I think). ERK. When I grow up... I wanna be just like him! He's sooo cool! I'm way converted.

July already??

*cries* I can't believe it. One second I'd just entered Kobe U. and next week I'm going sit in the first end-of-term exams?? What's happening? What have I been doing? I don't remember at all!! Oh maaaan~~ *bawls* Time's playing tricks on me.

Just what have I gotten myself into?

I'm in a race against time that doesn't even exist.

I'm in a serious PiNcH! (T_T) *runs around hysterically* EEP.

Oh, and I have a kanji name now! My dear friends Kaba-chan and Mio-chan gave me it-- 夏紫.NAJI. ... Aren't they the best? They're the characters for 'summer' and 'purple', so it's like summer's purple or something like that- it doesn't mean much to me but it sounded soooo cool!
